The Workshop and Seminar series are a special way to enhance communication between doctors, parents and young people alike.  It is a combined effort with different organizations and networks to both aid the lives of families and provide a hope and support mechanism for children afflicted with special needs.  More specifically, the program will promote the sports and different activities children with special needs should and can be included, thus taking away the many stigmas that are attached to the condition.  Parents will see that sports ARE a positive way to promote their child’s well being and will learn the parameters behind such activities.

The goal of the program is to unite families and help them learn more, all in hopes to become motivated.  This workshop and seminar series are truly a fun and a worthwhile experience.  Because as young people are being trained throughout the course of the day with a “Mighty Mike” basketball clinic, parents are listening to leading neurologists and speakers on topics which will include nutrition, health, and childhood behavioral issues.  When the day is wrapped up everyone will meet again for treats to discuss what they learned and then will be wowed by a wonderful awe-inspiring performance lecture by “Mighty Mike” to wrap up the days events and refreshments will be served.
